Synopsis: Weakening high pressure north of the islands will shift eastward over the next few days, leading to a weakening of the trade winds into the moderate to fresh range. A Small Craft Advisory remains in effect for the typically windier waters around Maui County and the Big Island. Periods of locally strong winds are possible for the windier waters through at least Saturday.
