Basic Windsurfing Stance - Shawna Cropas

Synopsis: A high pressure far northeast of the islands will shift further northeast tonight and Wednesday, before gradually weakening through the weekend, as a weak front passes by far north of the state. A Small Craft Advisory for windier waters around Maui County and the Big Island has been cancelled, as winds have weakened just below advisory levels. 

 

North and East Shores:  Trade winds…gradually lighter 

 

South and West shores:   Trades winds…gradually lighter 


Looking Further Ahead:  Moderate to locally fresh trades will hold through Wednesday, before easing to light to moderate category by Friday and may hold into the weekend.
